After leaving school, Audrey joined the Police Force. She spent time in uniform on patrol and as a member of the Criminal Investigation Department. After marrying Kevin, she accompanied him on his various postings throughout the world, living in Scotland, Germany, Hong Kong, Belize, and Africa. She learned to dive in Belize and is qualified as a BSAC Instructor and PADI Divemaster, with over 1000 dives.

Audrey has dived in the Red Sea, The Philippines, Malaysia, Borneo, and The Bahamas, where she now lives.
